Competition specialist Kunal Mehra has joined L&L Partners’ New Delhi office as a partner. Mehra joins from Dua Associates, where he was a partner for six years and focused on competition law and M&A.
Mehra advises on competition-related matters including merger control filings with the Competition Commission of India, abuse of dominance cases and cartels. He also undertakes competition compliance programmes for corporates, and has acted on cross-border M&A, private equity deals and general corporate advisory.
Mehra started his career with a brief stint at Dua Associates and then joined AZB & Partners, where he worked for almost seven years, followed by three years at Amarchand & Mangaldas in New Delhi before returning to Dua Associates as partner. He has also done a secondment at Apollo Global Management in New York.
