SpiceJet signed an agreement with France’s Safran to buy aircraft engines worth US$12.5 billion from its venture CFM International. “Link Legal India Law Services was involved in the review and negotiations of the engine purchase agreements,” said partner Durgesh Singh.
“[This included] the general terms agreement (GTA), the letter agreement (LA) which is the customized terms document for SpiceJet, side letters, as well as the rate per unit flight hour (RPFH) agreement; these documents comprised the engine purchase”.
