King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) recently hired Huang Ling as a partner in its Beijing office. Prior to joining KWM, she was a partner and the Beijing office chief representative at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
Huang has focused on cross-border M&A transactions involving various industries and transaction types, and across different regions. She has represented large Chinese state-owned enterprises, well-known private-owned companies and international private equity firms in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investments and joint venture transactions.
She also has experience in advising Fortune 500 companies and multinational conglomerates in foreign direct investment transactions in China.
