King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) recently added three counsel to its Hong Kong office. They are Jonathan Chapman (banking and finance), Gary Lam (corporate and securities) and Priscilla Wong (corporate and securities). Their addition will strengthen the firm’s capabilities in corporate, non-contentious regulatory and compliance, and structured finance.
Chapman represents investment banks, funds, insurance companies and corporates in a range of structured finance and derivatives transactions across the Asia-Pacific region. His practice includes advising on equity, credit, fund-linked, foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives, equity financing and trade financing, structured repos and securities loans, structured credit transactions, and regulatory matters and disputes.
Lam represents clients across a wide range of industry sectors including advising companies on their cross-border transactions in mainland China and Hong Kong. He has solid experience in a variety of corporate and commercial matters with a focus on M&A, joint ventures and compliance-related issues. He also advises on corporate finance, privatization, cross-border transactions and commercial work.
Wong has more than 10 years of experience in both the financial services industry and private practice, with a focus on non-contentious regulatory and compliance matters. She also advises on commercial and corporate finance transactions including M&A, private equity, corporate financing, regulatory and compliance matters, and has handled banking and asset management-related matters.
