King & Spalding and White & Case advised on the Apollo Hybrid Value Fund’s investment in PanAsia Health, the holding company of the Singapore-based healthcare provider Health Management International (HMI), for an undisclosed amount.

King & Spalding, led by partners Andrew Brereton, represented Apollo in this transaction, White & Case provided legal advice to HMI.

As partnership capital of the US-based alternative asset manager Apollo, the hybrid value fund has led more than USD18 billion in investments and operates via both private equity and credit teams.

Matt Michelini, the head of Asia-Pacific at Apollo, said this is the fourth investment made by the hybrid value fund in Asia in the past 24 months.

The investment in PanAsia Health will support HMI’s further expansion in Southeast Asia, where it has already established a portfolio of leading healthcare centres.
