The High Court of Kerala has conferred Singhania & Co’s partner BG Harindranath with the title of senior advocate.
Harindranath was among 20 advocates granted the senior designation during a full meeting of the chief justice of the Kerala high court, AJ Desai, and other judges.
As an experienced advocate, Harindranath has appeared before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Kerala, appellate tribunals and statutory authorities.
Prior to his legal practice, he was also the law secretary to the government of Kerala from 2015 to 2019, additional director at the Kerala Judicial Academy from 2012 to 2015, and professor at the National Judicial Academy in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in 2009 and 2010.
He also served as a district and sessions judge in Manjeri and as a family court judge in Thiruvananthapuram in 2009.
