Two powerhouses, Kingson and J&J, have merged to establish a new law firm in Guangdong, retaining its English name of J&J Law Firm.
Founded in March 1994, Kingson Law Firm was one of the earliest partnership law firms to open in Guangdong province and set up a Haikou branch in April 2022.
The firm has participated in the joint-stock transformation of dozens of state-owned enterprises in China, and has also provided legal services for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge project for many years.
A merger between Geenen Law Offices and Junhou Law Firm saw the establishment of J&J in June 2021. Apart from the firm’s headquarters, it has a branch in Guangzhou’s industrial area in Huangpu district, and two overseas offices in Florida and Virginia in the US.
