Jingtian & Gongcheng welcomes partners Zhang Zhanjiang and He Yuan to its Beijing and Hangzhou offices, respectively, covering the intellectual property and dispute resolution practices.
Zhang, a qualified patent attorney, brings IP knowledge gained from his previous work at the Patent Examination Co-operation (Beijing) of the China National Intellectual Property Administration from 2011 to 2016. With a strong focus on patent-related matters, he specialises in patent invalidation and litigation, examination and reexamination, patent mining and strategy, FTO analysis, and IP due diligence.
Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng, Zhang practised at Haiwen & Partners and King & Wood Mallesons.
He Yuan specialises in civil and commercial dispute resolution and corporate law risk prevention. Previously, he was a partner and deputy director of the foreign business department at Zeda Law Firm, based in Zhejiang province, where he advised many local companies.
