Delhi High Court has restrained Big Daddy Customs, a Delhi-based company dealing in customized cars, from using Jaguar Land Rover’s trademarks and vehicle designs.
Big Daddy offered on its website and Facebook page to modify customers’ vehicles to resemble Jaguar’s Range Rover Evoque using the name “Moon Rover”. Jaguar Land Rover filed a suit in Delhi High Court seeking a permanent injunction to restrain Big Daddy from infringing its registered trademarks, disparaging, diluting and tarnishing its marks and brand equity, and also claimed damages.
