Herbert Smith Freehills has hired Ee Lynn Tan as an energy partner based in Singapore, marking a strategic enhancement to the firm’s energy practice.
Anthony Patten, the Asia head of energy at Herbert Smith Freehills, said: “Our energy business is unique, providing market-leading advice at every stage required by clients, from project development and financing transactions to dispute resolution. Ee Lynn’s breadth of experience makes her a valuable addition to the team.”
Tan advises international sponsors, financial institutions and investors on complex energy projects and investments, with significant expertise across Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Tan held positions at White & Case in 2016 and at MinterEllison in 2014.
Last year, Herbert Smith Freehills added Anthony Patten to the same team in Singapore. The firm has more than 60 partners across the Asia-Pacific region who help clients with environmental, sustainability, energy transition, climate infrastructure and ESG work.
