I have read the article Cleaning up India’s courts in the October 2010 issue of India Business Law Journal with interest and I congratulate Prashant Bhushan for expressing his views so boldly and fearlessly. Having said that, I must confess I neither agree nor disagree with the views expressed by him.
The reason for this is despite having over 20 years of active practice in courts, I have not experienced a single instance where I have benefited or suffered on account of corruption in courts.
I cannot say that about the Trade Marks Registry, but I can certainly say that about the courts.
