GEN Law Firm aims to boost its cross-border business with the recruitment of Saphira Wu as a partner to its Shanghai office.
Wu, who has been practising for 10 years, specialises in M&A and finance. She is a fluent German, English and Chinese speaker, who has been advising multinational companies operating in China and abroad on compliance matters. Wu is well versed in assisting high-tech enterprises in creating red-chip structures and advising them on bond financing.
Before joining GEN, Wu was a partner at Dacheng Law Offices and had worked at KPMG’s affiliated law firm SF Lawyers in Shanghai, Grandall Law Firm and C&S Law Firm (now known as Hengtai Law Offices). Wu once switched lanes and became a senior manager at KPMG.
