Rohan Singh has joined Fox Mandal & Associates as a partner under the firm’s corporate and M&A practice in Mumbai.
He had been counsel at Trilegal prior to this, while he previously worked at Nishith Desai Associates, Khaitan & Co and Amarchand Mangaldas.
“I hope to contribute to the firm’s burgeoning domestic and cross-border VC, PE and M&A (venture capital, private equity and mergers & acquisitions) transactional practice and leverage the firm’s full-service capabilities,” he told India Business Law Journal.
In his career of more than 11 years, Singh has specialised in venture capital, private equity, M&A and corporate restructuring. He has advised foreign and domestic multinational companies on entry strategies, acquisitions, divestments and restructurings; and sovereign wealth funds and financial sponsors on cross-border investments and exits.
Singh focuses on investments and divestments in multiple industries including financial services, e-commerce, IT, manufacturing, real estate, fintech and insurance.
“The firm’s corporate and M&A team works as a unit across its offices with eight partners and more than 30 lawyers and other professionals,” Singh said.
Fox Mandal has 28 partners across its eight offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Pune.
