Dentons advised Yahua Industrial Group, a civil explosives maker and a lithium producer, on a USD145 million acquisition of mining for four potential mines in Namibia.
Yahua Industrial Group’s investment arm indirectly holds the lithium mining rights in Damaraland, Namibia, after purchasing a 70% stake in two units of China Africa Industrial.
Dentons team was led by senior partner Li Xiaofeng, with support from partner Liu Yanjun, who also co-ordinated with legal advisers from Namibia and the Seychelles.
