Having been a partner for more than a decade, Chua Kee Loon, also co-deputy head of international arbitration at Allen & Gledhill, has left to establish a new disputes-focused firm, Chua & Partners.

Chua also brought his team to the new law firm, comprising Allen & Gledhill’s partners Ng Si Ming and Nicholas Tan, and senior associate Sheryl Koh. All of them are now partners at the new firm, led by managing partner Chua.

With more than 20 years of experience, Chua specialises in international arbitration covering all aspects of commercial, energy and building disputes, focusing on major engineering projects and investments in Southeast Asia.

Chua has appeared as lead counsel in arbitrations seated in various cities around the region and abroad such as London, Geneva and the Hague, dealing with cases related to investment treaty arbitrations against sovereign states.
