Chandhiok & Mahajan has opened an office in Hyberabad, located at the Shangri-La Plaza in the Banjara Hills area.
Avinash Amarnath, the firm’s competition and disputes partner, has relocated from the Bengaluru branch to the new office to take over as resident partner.
The office will accommodate a maximum of 10 lawyers and staff.
Chandhiok managing partner Pooja Mahajan said the firm would be better placed to serve clients in the wider southern region with offices in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Sujoy Bhatia, partner and head of corporate said: “Chandhiok has been serving clients in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh remotely from New Delhi and Bengaluru. The opening of the Hyderabad office is in response to our clients requesting us to be closer to them both on transactions and litigation.”
