Sanjeev Sachdeva rejoined L&L Partners as a mentor and partner in the firm’s senior leadership team on 15 November.
Sachdeva will re-assume his role as taxation partner and will be a mentor for the taxation team, bringing with him experience of more than 40 years. He has been associated with the firm since 2008 and oversaw the setting up of its indirect tax practice.
During his career, he has represented many international and national clients, among whom he assisted in arbitration proceedings at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the London Court of International Arbitration.
Before joining the firm, he started as an officer of the Indian Revenue Service and was awarded the Presidential Certificate of Appreciation for Distinguished Service in 1999. He also headed the operations of Trinity College London in South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
He attended the post graduate programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and studied at the Delhi School of Economics for his masters.
