The Cambodian government has implemented a pension scheme that includes the four types of pensions provided under the Social Security Law of 2019, namely pensions for old-age, invalidity, survivors and funerary allowances. Before this issuance, only occupational risks and healthcare schemes were enforced, as reported by SokSiphana & associates law firm. Enterprises employing one or more workers are obliged to register with the National Social Security Fund for the pension scheme within 30 of it coming into force on 3 April.
