Robert Lewis, the former managing partner of Lovells (now Hogan Lovells) in Beijing who joined AllBright Law Offices last year, has moved to Zhong Lun Law Firm, joining as its international managing partner.
Lewis will be a member of Zhong Lun’s global management committee. As international managing partner he will work alongside the firm’s managing partner, Zhang Xuebing, to coordinate its international strategy.
“In the course of this past year, my experience with AllBright has reinforced my views on the favourable market opportunities for senior foreign lawyers in leading Chinese law firms,” said Lewis. “At the same time, it became increasingly clear to me that being based in Beijing I needed to be in a Beijing-based law firm in order to maximize those opportunities.”
