East & Concord Partners has added six partners and a counsel across four offices nationwide, bolstering its capabilities in dispute resolution, compliance and international trade.

Cai Guanghu joins the Shanghai office as a partner, while Cai Mingyang, Hu Huanyu and Zhang Liming join the Shenzhen office as partners. Zhang Yaqiong and Wang Ning join the Wuhan and Xi’an offices respectively as partners, and Xi Lingyun is at the Xi’an office as a counsel.

Cai Guanghu, who formerly worked at Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Shanghai office, has more than 10 years of experience. Cai focuses on corporate and M&A, antitrust and competition law, and compliance. He has led or participated in cross-border investment, M&A, equity transfers, dissolution and liquidation as well as corporate compliance projects for well-known companies.

Before joining East & Concord, Cai Mingyang worked at Llinks Law Offices and Hui Zhong Law Firm. He specialises in foreign-related civil and commercial dispute resolution and legal counsel, with extensive experience in handling cross-border equity disputes and international trade disputes. He has advised listed companies and multinational corporations on resolving cross-border disputes.

Hu’s practice covers bankruptcy and restructuring, energy and natural resources, and dispute resolution. During the past decade, she has acted as administrator or special counsel in more than 100 restructuring, settlement and liquidation cases involving corporates and individuals, spanning sectors including real estate, construction and environmental technology. She previously worked at Zhuojian Law Firm.

Zhang Liming has more than 10 years of experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution. She is adept at handling a wide range of disputes over commercial contracts, and equity and control, with expertise in corporate and partnership governance, investment and financing, and loan and guarantee contracts. She previously worked at the Shenzhen branch of AllBright Law Offices.

Zhang Yaqiong focuses on bankruptcy restructuring, corporate M&A and dispute resolution, alongside research and practice in insolvency. He has handled restructuring cases for large corporate groups and listed companies, with strengths in rescuing distressed businesses in real estate, industrial manufacturing and commerce. He was formerly a partner at Hubei-based Shanhe Law Firm.

Wang specialises in banking and finance and non-performing asset (NPA) management. He has handled numerous NPA recovery and disposal matters, and led several high-profile M&A, restructurings and revitalisation projects involving distressed assets. He also provides ongoing and project-based legal services to large financial institutions and corporate groups.

Xi, a full-time faculty member at Northwest University of Political Science and Law, has more than 20 years of experience. He focuses on construction contract disputes, real estate development disputes, sales contract disputes, loan contract disputes, and corporate M&A and restructuring. He has advised large state-owned enterprises and private companies. Before joining the firm, he was a partner at the Xi’an office of Kangda Law Firm.
