East & Concord Partners has hired Mabel Liu as a partner in its Beijing office to bolster the antitrust and competition law practice.
Before rejoining East & Concord, Liu was a partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Beijing office for five years. She also previously worked as a partner at East & Concord’s Beijing branch, and earlier practised at CMS China and JunHe.
With two decades of experience, Liu specialises in antitrust investigations and litigation, merger control filings, and advising on domestic implications of foreign antitrust proceedings.
She has extensive experience with the internet, building materials, hospitality, chemicals, semiconductors and finance, and has advised numerous multinational corporations and state-owned enterprises on cross-border M&A, joint ventures and restructurings.
