Haiwen & Partners has strengthened its global trade practice with the recruitment of Yuan Shuaiqi as an international partner in the firm’s Beijing office.
Yuan, who formerly practised at Perkins Coie in the past 10 years, specialises in international trade and transactions, economic sanctions, and export control.
She has represented the Chinese government and industry associations addressing national security investigations conducted by the US Department of Commerce related to steel, aluminium and vehicles from China. She has responded to US trade remedy investigations on behalf of China’s Ministry of Commerce and corporations.
Yuan is licensed to practice in New York and Washington, and admitted to the US Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
