David Luo Chengjie, a specialist in data compliance, has joined Wintell & Co as a partner in the firm’s Beijing office.
Luo previously worked as an associate at Jingtian & Gongcheng, where he advised technology companies on a range of matters, including data compliance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence regulations and navigating global expansion.
Reflecting on his career, Luo highlighted how technological advancements have transformed work processes while introducing new complex legal issues. “I aim to be deeply involved in the field of technology law, collaborating with peers and clients to drive standardisation within the industry and advance the rule of law,” he said.
Luo holds a degree from Northwest University of Politics and Law and earned an LLM from Boston University.
