White & Case has strengthened its global project development and finance practice with the hire of partner Joanne Emerson Taqi in Sydney. Taqi joined from Norton Rose Fulbright, where she was a partner for almost 11 years in Sydney. Taqi is a project development lawyer with more than 20 years of experience advising on a wide range of construction and project agreements in the infrastructure, utilities and real estate sectors in the Middle East, Australia and Asia-Pacific, with particular expertise in waste and water infrastructure projects.
