Wang Jing has replaced Sam Wong as managing partner of Wang Jing & GH Law firm. Wang will also serve as chairman of the board of directors.
“Wang Jing & GH aims to become the top-tier foreign-related law firm in the Greater Bay Area,” Wang told China Business Law Journal. “[The firm] will integrate resources, utilize the political and commercial policies in the bay area, and introduce more international legal talent from international and local law firms.”
Wang, who specializes in maritime law, was formerly the founding partner of Wang Jing & Co, which he ran for more than 20 years. According to Wang, the strategic restructuring of Wang Jing & GH started from the end of 2019. Grand & Holders Law Firm rebranded its English name to Wang Jing & GH Law Firm in January, with its Chinese name remaining unchanged. Wang joined the firm in April, marking the completion of the restructuring.
