Dentons has recruited David Blumenfeld as head of real estate for the Asia-Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Blumenfeld will lead cross-border investment transactions and work closely with Dentons’ 200 real estate lawyers in Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Seoul and more than 20 other Asia-Pacific offices.
Blumenfeld’s practices focus on high-profile real estate investment work and complex cross-border deals for PE firms, financial institutions, investment banks and other institutional investors investing in China, Japan and other regional locations.
Based in Asia for more than 15 years, Blumenfeld has advised the world’s top international investors and lenders on many of the most significant transactions in the region during that time. He joins Dentons after chairing the Asia real estate and hospitality practices for Paul Hastings.
