Universal Legal assisted Ryan International in acquiring leasehold rights for more than 1.5 million square feet of land across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana states for an undisclosed sum.
Partners Neha Sehgal and Rashi Kapoor Mehta led the transaction team, which conducted title due diligence, structuring, negotiating and finalising the documents. Associate partner Angshuman Chaliha and associate Ruchita Krishnan assisted the team.
Ryan International, which is a prominent operator of K-12 schools across India, plans to establish eight greenfield educational institutions on the land in these states.
