Titus & Co, a law firm based in New Delhi, has tied up with Italian lawyer Jacopo Gasperi to provide legal services to domestic and international firms.
Titus & Co’s managing partner, Diljeet Titus, said that under the agreement “we will open an Italian desk in our office, while Gasperi will have an Indian desk.”
Titus & Co and Gasperi plan to share their client base and help each other serve clients in cross-border deals.
Titus made it clear that the agreement will not violate the Bar Council of India’s ban on foreign law firms opening offices in India.
