T Rowe Price Global Investment Services (TRP) has agreed to acquire a 26% stake in UTI Asset Management (UMC), as well as in UTI Trustee Company (UTC), for approximately Rs6.5 billion (US$138 million). TRP is a wholly owned subsidiary of T Rowe Price Group in Baltimore.
