Squire Patton Boggs welcomes back Samantha Smart as a partner in the global corporate practice group in Perth, Australia, who brings a wealth of experience following her stint as a director in PwC’s Perth legal arm.
Smart’s professional journey spans more than 17 years, during which she has provided expert counsel to Australian and international clients. Her specialisation includes private M&A, sale and purchase arrangements, and project development and operation across the energy and resources sectors.
She is deeply involved in the legal community, being a member of the WA Committee for the Energy & Resources Law Association (formerly the AMPLA) and a recent member of the editorial board of the Australian Resources and Energy Law Journal.
