Thai firm Siam Premier recently appointed Chatchavej Chitvarakorn as the firm’s new managing partner. He will succeed the founding partner, Phisud Dejakaisaya, after 30 years leading the firm, effective from 1 October 2020.
“Chatchavej’s appointment reflects his dedication, integrity and commitment to our clients and our staff,” said Phisud. “He is an excellent lawyer and well-positioned to lead the development of Siam Premier in its next chapter.”
Chitvarakorn has developed a reputation in the Thai market in cross-border M&A transactions, insurance, regulatory, construction, public-private partnerships, real estate projects and disputes. He joined the firm in 1999, was seconded to Sydney-based firm, Allens, until 2009, and made it to partner in 2010.
