Following almost 20 years as a partner at Italian law firm Gianni & Origoni in Hong Kong, veteran corporate lawyer Stefano Beghi, has moved to Chicago-headquartered law firm Seyfarth Shaw as a partner in the city.

Peter Talibart, co-chair of Seyfarth’s international department and managing partner of the London office, said Beghi’s deep cross-border experience is invaluable as business becomes increasingly global in nature.

“Seyfarth’s growing work at the vanguard of cross-border legal projects, paired with Stefano’s proven success, makes him the perfect addition to our practice at a time of substantial growth at our firm,” said Talibart.

Specialising in M&A and corporate and commercial law, Beghi has significant experience in assisting leading Italian, European and international companies, as well as family-owned businesses, in cross-border transactions in Asia and Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Currently, Seyfarth has more than 900 lawyers across 17 offices in providing advisory, litigation and transactional legal services to clients worldwide.
