The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) Student Chapter hosted the GenA2Z ‒ Future of Work series at the NTUC Centre in One Marina Boulevard on 30 July 2024.

The gathering of law students and in-house legal experts discussed digital nomadism, AI’s integration into workplaces, and how technological and societal developments interplay with conventional employment frameworks.

Sponsored by Bird & Bird ATMD, the event was held in conjunction with the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC).

It featured a panel discussion moderated by SCCA board director Serene Gan with speakers Seow Hui Goh, partner at Bird & Bird ATMD; Krish Deepak Nagrani, president of the Temasek Polytechnic Educational and Career Guidance Ambassadors; Patrick Tay, assistant secretary general of the NTUC; and Soh Yi Fei Titus, president of the United Kingdom Singapore Law Student Society.

SCCA co-president and Student Chapter vice-chair Daniel Choo said: “We are grateful to our speakers for sharing their insights and perspectives, creating a panel rich with wisdom from thought leaders, legal practitioners and aspiring law students.

“Active participation of the audience during the Q&A session underscored the importance and relevance of the Future of Work as a topic that resonates across the legal community and beyond.”
