Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM) has advised Barentz, a global life sciences and specialty performance ingredients distributor, in its acquisition of Radian Chemical Products for an undisclosed amount.
Partners Roopal Kulsrestha and Neelam Pathak led the SAM transaction team, with the assistance of principal associate Meghna Nachappa, and associates Pranav Bajaj and Aparna R.
Kulsrestha also led the due diligence team, with assistance from Nachappa and associates Riya Jain, Bajaj and Harsh Gupta.
Radian Chemical Products is an Indian company providing high-end niche specialty solutions to the colour cosmetics and personal care industries.
Barentz said the acquisition would unlock opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.
