Revanta Mathur has joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a partner in Delhi-NCR, becoming the second hire since September 2023 to bolster the IP practice.
Mathur said, “I am excited to join the largest full-service law firm in India and embark on this new chapter in my professional life.”
Previously at Anand and Anand for more than a decade, Mathur honed his skills in the IP practice. His addition is the second partner hire from Anand and Anand, following Swati Sharma who was appointed in September last year and currently heads the IP practice at CAM.

Mathur will focus on brand strategies and transactional IP matters such as trademark and copyright in India as well as member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation.
His expertise involves representing clients from various sectors, including the sports, alcohol, luxury goods and automotive industries. Mathur handles trademark prosecution, enforcement, as well as corporate and commercial IP matters.
Mathur has also dealt with application, opposition and assignment cases at hearings before the trademark offices and the Intellectual Property Division of the high court.
