Anil Ambani’s Reliance Infrastructure has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company.
The acquisition is said to be the largest to date in the Indian defence sector, which has recently opened up to foreign investment following Indian government policy changes.
