DMD gets corporate

Tejveer Singh has joined DMD Advocates as a partner in its Mumbai office. Singh, who has more than 18 years’ experience, is a lawyer with dual qualifications as a chartered accountant. He specialises in corporate consulting and has facilitated large foreign direct investments in various sectors. During his career, Singh has also advised several economic bodies, including sovereign wealth funds.

“Tejveer’s vast repertoire of cross-sectoral practice will bring enormous value to clients of our law firm,” said Fereshte Sethna, the founder and managing partner of DMD’s Mumbai office.

Maheshwari & Co grows partnership

Principal associate Dharmender Verma has been promoted to partnership at Maheshwari & Co, bringing the firm’s number of partners to five. Verma has experience in litigation and arbitration, and plays a pivotal role in dealing with domestic arbitration for both private and public companies. Verma has been part of various large arbitration matters related to construction and infrastructure.

Saraf gets new address

Saraf and Partners has moved to a 20,000-square-feet office space in Film City, Noida. The firm opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting conducted by the firm’s founder and managing partner, Mohit Saraf.

The law firm was formed after a split between Saraf and L&L Partners founder Rajiv Luthra, and began operations out of the Leela Palace hotel in the Chanakyapuri area of New Delhi. The hotel continues to serve as the firm’s Delhi office. The new office includes an entire floor with 20 partners’ cabins and workstations for more than 150 employees.

KSK hires real estate partner

Sreenivasa Raghavan has joined King Stubb & Kasiva (KSK) in its real estate practice and will work out of Bengaluru. Prior to this, Raghavan was a legal counsel at Lumiere Law Partners. Raghavan has experience in real estate acquisition, due diligence, lending, development, land aggregation, leases, special economic zones, real estate investment trusts, industrial land, logistics, retail, townships, commercial and residential properties.
