Linklaters has hired Joel Seow as partner in its newly established investment funds practice in Singapore. Seow joined from Morgan Lewis & Bockius, where he was a partner in Singapore for almost three years.
Seow has extensive experience advising sponsors in Asia on establishing private investment funds across various asset classes with a particular focus on private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge funds.
Linklaters’ global head of investment funds Silke Bernard in Luxembourg, said that Seow’s addition would be invaluable in helping the firm establish a strong investment funds practice in Asia.
Seow’s hiring came a month after the firm rehired Betty Yap in Hong Kong and Carl Fernandes in London in its private equity and financial regulatory teams last December.
