Four partners have joined Merits & Tree Law Offices to boost its dispute resolution, commercial and criminal advocacy sectors.
Sun Fu and Li Binghao both worked at Hengdu Law Offices, where Li was a partner. Li was also a partner at AllBright Law Offices and Jingsh Law Firm.
Sun has expertise in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and real estate and construction. He presided as a judge on civil cases in Qingdao Intermediate People’s Court and assisted in handling legal matters in the Supreme People’s Court. He was also a chief writer in the drafting of an interpretation of a labour dispute case.
Li focuses on investment and financing M&A and contract advocacy. She has clients in the real estate, manufacturing, literary products, financing, medicine, catering and car sectors.
Xiao Ying was a partner at Anli Partners, practised at Tian Yuan Law Firm and Zhong Wen Law Firm, and worked for 15 years in the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and Xicheng district bureau in Beijing. She concentrates on criminal and administration defences and government legal services. She has acted for government officials in corruption and bribery cases and corporate executives in economic criminal cases.
Xiao Jing’s practice area is mainly in dispute resolution, criminal advocacy, government regulation and compliance, family law and wealth management. She provided defence and mediation services to various domestic and foreign companies, and advised on gaming clubs and media firms. She was a partner at Hui Ye Law Firm and practised at Grandway Law Offices before joining Merits & Tree.
