Baker McKenzie has added senior capital markets specialist Thomas Tarala as partner to commit its strategic development for SPAC listing regimes in Hong Kong bond markets and ESG (environmental, social and governance) investments.
As a senior practitioner with over 25 years of experience, Tarala is admitted to practice as a US attorney in New York, Connecticut and Florida, and as a solicitor in England and Wales, as well as Hong Kong. He will advise on areas such as public offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, and secondary offerings. Tarala joins the firm from HNA Group (International), where he served as general counsel for five years.
