Liu Hongyue, Matthew Yin and Chen Haijun has joined AnJie Broad as partners to reinforce its Shanghai office’s strength in international trade, dispute resolution and labour matters.

Liu, a former lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons, specialises in the areas of dispute resolution as well as compliance and regulation. He represented foreign and state-owned enterprises in disputes related to land, equity and labour.

He is well-equipped to tackle US regulations and has advised Chinese companies on anti-commercial bribery, export control measures and sanctions, and cross-border transfers of data.

Previously, both Yin and Chen worked at JunHe.

Yin has extensive experience in bankruptcy reorganisation and special asset investment. When handling bankruptcy reorganisation cases, he acted as an insolvency administrator and represented investors, creditors and debtors.

In addition to his time at JunHe, Yin worked at Chen & Co Law Firm, honing his corporate experience in the real estate and financial leasing sectors.

Chen specialises in handling international trading disputes including criminal defence. His specialty in handling economic crimes and regulations stems from his position at Shanghai Customs, where he thwarted smuggling activities, and the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, where he did clerical work.
