Job Description
Our client is a top-tier global alternative asset manager. Due to heightened deal flow, the firm is looking for an experienced deal lawyer to join their market-leading deal team, supporting its transactions in Asia. In this Asia regional role, you will work closely with the senior transaction counsel and be responsible for transaction-related legal issues, including deal documentation and execution.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 8 – 15 years’ PQE dealing with complex capital structures, distressed investing, and public debt and equity regimes gained in a leading US/UK/AUS law firm or comparable asset manager. Buy-side transactional experience in private debt and equity investments in China, India, SEA, and Australia is highly desirable. Fluency in English is mandatory; an Asian language is a plus but not necessary. Travel within Asia is required. REF: 16325/VTA
