M&A partner joins Latham & Watkins in Tokyo

Latham & Watkins has appointed Yohei Nakagawa as a partner in its Tokyo office, boosting the firm’s M&A and private equity practice.

Nakagawa has expertise in advising Japanese and international entities on outbound and inbound transactions. Prior to joining Latham, Nakagawa served as a corporate partner at Morrison & Foerster in Tokyo. He is a member of the New York Bar and a registered foreign lawyer in Japan.

He has delivered strategic counsel to a diverse clientele, including companies, investors and financial institutions. Nakagawa’s practice encompasses a wide scope of M&A activities, ranging from strategic investments to joint ventures.
