Birla Corporation, a Kolkata-based company listed on the BSE, has agreed to acquire Lafarge India’s cement grinding unit in Jojobera, Jharkhand, and its integrated cement unit in Sonadih, Chhattisgarh. The two plants have an annual cement capacity of 5.15 million tonnes.
