Strengthening its infrastructure, banking and structured finance practice, Kochhar & Co has hired Pradeep Ratnam as senior partner and co-chair, and Parul Verma as a partner in its New Delhi office. Both join from Krishnamurthy & Co (K Law), where Ratnam was a senior partner and Verma was a partner.
Ratnam advises clients on restructuring, stressed and opportunistic M&A and private equity in infrastructure and allied sectors. Verma specializes in infrastructure, project financing, fintech, financial regulation and real estate.
With their addition, Kochhar & Co has 52 partners and more than 200 lawyers with offices in six Indian cities, and overseas offices in Dubai, Singapore and Chicago.
