King & Spalding has hired energy lawyers Anthony Patten and Lachlan Clancy from Shearman & Sterling in Singapore. The firm also hired a Sydney-based global human capital and compliance partner Luke Edwards from Seyfarth Shaw.
The new partners will strengthen the firm’s corporate, finance and investments practice group. Patten was a project finance partner and co-head of the firm’s oil and gas group, and Clancy, who will relocate to King & Spalding’s Tokyo office, was a counsel. Edwards will divide his time between the firm’s Singapore and Tokyo offices.
