King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) officially opens its Changchun office, the firm’s first branch located in northeastern China, to strengthen the delivery of its services in the region.
Partner Tang Yiyun, who has expertise in private equity, capital markets and M&A, serves as a permanent representative of the Changchun branch.
The Changchun New Area is key to northeastern China’s revitalisation and the national-level region has a high-tech industrial development zone, which has sectors such as advanced manufacturing, biomedical, aerospace, etc.
The Changchun office will provide advice on M&A, dispute resolution and intellectual property.
