After more than four years as a partner and head of the Hong Kong office at Lewis Silkin, international employment lawyer Kathryn Weaver has decided to move to Seyfarth Shaw.

Weaver will be a partner and head of Seyfarth Shaw’s regional cross-border employment practice in Hong Kong.

Qualified to practice in England and Wales, and Hong Kong, Weaver advises multinational businesses on the full range of employment issues in the city. This includes employment law, immigration, data privacy and benefits, as well as the handling of cross-jurisdictional work across the Asia-Pacific region.

Peter Talibart, a co-chair of Seyfarth’s international department in London, said Weaver would bring an unparallelled depth of experience to the firm.

“Seyfarth’s international employment practice has seen an ever-increasing demand for assistance across the Asia-Pacific region from its multinational clients, both on a standalone basis and as a component of global employment law or human resources advisory and compliance projects, for many of the world’s leading companies,” said Talibart.
