The Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) has formed an advisory board to help promote Malaysia as a destination for arbitration. The board was appointed on 15 August and consists of six members, including Sumeet Kachwaha, the managing partner of Delhi-based Kachwaha & Partners.
“The freshness and enthusiasm at the KLRCA is palpable,” Kachwaha told India Business Law Journal. “I am very happy and honoured to be a part of it.
“One little known fact is KLRCA’s India connection,” Kachwaha added. “[It] was established by the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) – an international organization with permanent headquarters in New Delhi.”
