JunHe and Hai Run Law Firm have strengthened their presence in northwestern China through their new branches in Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi province.
JunHe’s website shows Lin Zhijun, who joined the firm in 2022 from King & Wood Mallesons, has been appointed as the resident partner in the new office. He specialises in private equity and capital markets.
Yong Jia Xin Law Firm’s former director and senior partner Qin Tao will lead Hai Run’s Xi’an office. The branch will focus on corporate matters, dispute resolution, bankruptcy and reorganisation, real estate and construction, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and commercial crime.
Xi’an is a node city of the Belt and Road Initiative and an exemplary zone for international commercial legal services, dedicated to the advancement of foreign-related legal affairs.
